Testimonials

What a surprise! The proprietors, John & Vonda were there to greet us before we stopped the rig. The entrance and roads are newly paved and they are constantly leveling the pads. Grounds are landscaped and decorated. Wi-fi is great. Nice walking trail and fishing pond. Easy in and out from I-10. There are no restrooms or showers. Water quality is great. We'll be sure to visit here again.

This is the best small campground we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The owners are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Before you can get stopped, they’re out to greet you. Vonda takes you to your site and puts out a mat at your steps. We were here last year the same week and the grass was nice and green. They had temps in the 20’s last week and their flowers and grass paid the price. If you’re traveling I-10 this should be your overnight stop or do as we’re doing take some time off and spend a couple or more nights here.

We are headed to Texas and decided to use our PA membership and I went on the trip planner. We were looking for some place to stay for the night as we went down I 10. This, so far, has been the best little campground we have ever stopped at. The owners were out to meet us before we could even get out of our truck. It is nice and easy to get into and the spots are laid out nicely. We only needed a stop off for the night so we aren't getting to experience the bunnies or nice nature around here but we plan on making this a place to stop when we are back in the area and not on a work trip. Great people and great layout.

Hitchinpost Corral and Campground RV Park. Cottondale FL 32431. New RV Park Cottondale FL Exit 130 4 minutes off the I-10 and 231. No restrictions on Passport America discount. They honor PA 24/7 365 days a year. They are One of the best, new, rustic, peaceful, well kept 24 site state of the art electrical pedestals with full hook-up, pull through, big rig friendly Campground and RV Park so far and we have been ft on the road now for 15 yrs, To make it even better, the owners John and Vonda are the best hard working team and couple you could ever wish for in this business. They greeted us with an umbrella so that we didn't have to get out in the rain at 10 pm to check in, and we didn't even have a reservation on the 4th of July weekend and they even honored our PA discount on top of that. The roads are clearly big enough to navigate any size rig with or without a tow. We have a 41ft with 20ft toy hauler and didn't have to unhook. There are no obstacles to try to miss, no low hanging limbs, separate entrance and exit, but be careful and watch out for their white bunnies lol They are adorable and sometimes hang out in the Campground. Great Wi-Fi , water pressure about 45 lbs, great satellite reception and about 15 local channels with antenna. Long, level sites and some very spacious. Two clean fenced in dog parks and plan on adding another. They have corrals and a 50ft round pen for a nice stay over when travelling with horses. They also have volleyball, horseshoes and more games as well as fishing and the best free Wi-Fi yet. We picked black berries and the owners brought us a dozen of their delicious free range eggs, yummy. Another great thing is they don't have permanent or local residents which is a major plus in my opinion, no drama very peaceful indeed. No mosquitoes and just a few knats. Very clean and well kept with trash cans at every two sites. This will be one of our favorite parks to stay at when we are nearby and possibly make it one of our home bases. So of course we recommend it to all that travel near there. Thank you John and Vonda so much for your hard work and wonderful hospitality and congratulations on building such a great place to stay overnight or a few days or weeks in our case. We are looking forward to watching your campground grow and prosper. And I'm really looking forward to trying out that putting green you guys are planning on designing. May God Bless You Always.

New RV park and Campground, rustic, peaceful and very well kept. They have wide roads with an entrance and exit, 60-40-30 amp electric with water and sewer at every site, Pull-Thru sites as well as backin sites in the woods and good wi-fi and its free. They have 2 dog parks, horse corrals for people traveling with their horses, lots of room to walk and look at nature. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, continuosly working to make it even more cozy. We plan on staying there on future trips and are looking forward to seeing them grow.
